The California State Chapter of P.E.O. provides educational scholarships to California resident women studying in a variety of fields at Cottey College as well as travel assistance to prospective Cottey students (who are California residents) and accompanying adults. California State P.E.O. offers scholarships to returning California resident Cottey students and students admitted by December 1. Applications are sent to all eligible students and must be returned by February 1. Recipients are selected and notified in the spring.

California State P.E.O. provides funds to allow a prospective student and an accompanying adult up to one per student to visit the campus for an official Cottey Recruitment Event or prearranged formal independent visit.
